Being in the industry as an advisor since May of 2004 Chris has the experience from working with many different clients with a variety of different goals, and as Cliff, the founder of PWM, often quotes “We’ve seen the rest of your life through the eyes of others. We can guide you”.
Chris has obtained his Chartered Investment Manager (CIM©) designation through the Canadian Securities Institute and has his Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC©) designation. He enjoys the collaboration at PWM and being an equity owner in the company, as opposed to the time he spent being an employee of a major financial institution. Today, his clients have become his “employers” with a priority of being there when his clients need him most, and an endless search for better ways to service clients. Chris approaches every situation from a goals-based planning perspective first and foremost, and backfills with recommendations on solutions after he gets to genuinely know the humans he's dealing with.
Chris enjoys the smaller, tight-knit community that the area offers.
His immediate family includes his spouse, Heidi, his son Asher, and their Lab/Cane Corso/Shepherd dog, Maverick. He was a rescue from Northern Saskatchewan.
As parents to his son Asher, Chris and Heidi are passionate about living a morally rich life wherein they teach Asher while learning about life alongside him. They continue the journey of betterment in their lives, whether it be through diet, exercise, social activities, etc. Their hobbies include camping, fishing, boating, hockey, hikes, the outdoors, and campfires with family.

Born in Poland, Iwona’s parents moved their family to Canada when she was 5 in the hopes of providing better opportunities for their children. She has stayed close to her roots, and spent 5 years as a board member for the Polish-Canadian Dance Society. As a Professional Wealth Advisor at Precision Wealth, Carly helps people manage their money, coaching them in various areas that best suit themselves and their families over the long-term.
Carly has a Bachelor of Business Administration, and after university she moved to Vancouver to get into the automotive industry. At the time, she thought that was her true passion. By chance, she took a job instead with an investment fund company. Now, she is happy to stay in the finance industry for the long-term. Carly considers it the best decision she ever made, since it allows her to split her time between two of her favourite places—Nanoose Bay and Vancouver. This blend of time in a small community and expansive city allows her to get the best of both places. In her free time, Carly enjoys anything outside—especially when it is on the water!
Precision Wealth is based on the core values of competence, integrity, caring and a strong work ethic. This caring among colleagues, Carly says, is truly at the heart of Precision Wealth. Carly and the Advisor team work together to provide the best client experience—striving for the lowest costs and best risk adjusted returns.
Cliff has turned a lifelong love for business, math, and people into a successful career in wealth management. He believes that values, not credentials, make the biggest difference, and ensures that Precision Wealth is based on the core values of competence, integrity, caring, and a strong work ethic. Bringing peace of mind to his clients, and being there for them, is the most rewarding part of what he does.
As the founder of Precision Wealth Management, Cliff has advised clients through many significant financial and life changes. This wealth of experience and insight continues to benefit our firm and clients in his role as leader of strategic development.
In his free time, Cliff enjoys mountain biking, scuba diving, travel, home repair and spending time with his family and dogs. He enjoys the abundant natural scenery, pace and quality of his community. In order to build upon those foundations, he supports various community organizations, including Loaves & Fishes, a local food bank.
With over 37 years in the financial service industry, 16 as a Certified Financial Planner, I approach managing client’s financial plans and portfolios with the firm belief that their money is their money. I have extensive knowledge and experience in all disciplines of financial planning and am an expert in retirement income planning. I strongly believe that each client’s goals are different and should be treated with the individual attention they deserve.
I was born and raised in southern Saskatchewan and was instilled with the hard-working values of a prairie family. I began my career as a stenographer to the branch manager in a small-town bank. After working my way up and studying to achieve my Certified Financial Planning designation I took a step outside the box and moved to the Cayman Islands and became the first ever Relationship Manager to the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce Pension Plan. I was responsible for spearheading the total overhaul of The Plan to better suite the plan member’s and sponsor’s needs and goals.
In 2007 I moved back to Canada to beautiful Vancouver Island. My greatest achievement is the success of my family – 2 daughters, 2 son-in laws, 2 grandsons, 1 granddaughter – all in Saskatchewan.
I have been a member of the committee for the bi-annual Oceanside fundraiser for Ovarian Cancer “The Lunch” and currently serve as co-chair. I volunteer as an exam scorer for FP Canada marking exams for candidates writing to achieve their Certified Financial Planning designation. After spending most of my career in the corporate world of banks I look forward to being a part of the team at Precision Wealth Management and ensuring that client’s financial plans and portfolios are designed with their long-term goals and financial security in mind.
Justin’s curiosity with financial markets started sometime in the early ‘90s. Looking at the 1000s of stock quotes in the ‘Business’ section of the Edmonton Journal in the mid-1990s, he noticed the price of WTI Crude Oil in the single digits. He remembers saying, “Seems low, we should buy some!” His dad looked up from the sports section and gently shot down the idea of an 8- or 9-year-old wanting to buy barrels of oil during some of the hardest times for non-renewable commodities in Canadian history. Contrarians are often early!
Justin’s curiosity continued when the family drove south to Coeur d'Alene for a summer road trip. Before the adventure, his mother took him to the bank and guided him to exchange Loonies for Greenbacks (as having ample candy cash was an absolute priority). To his surprise, his allowance didn’t equate to much US currency after the seemingly money losing transaction. Fortunately, candy purchasing power was far better south of the 49th Parallel. Remembering the power of the USD, he was sure to separate US quarters from Canadian quarters going forward!
A handful of years later and what was seemingly par for the course at the time, his hard-working, middle-class, parents kept the kids segregated upstairs when money decisions were being made. Peering from the banister, this was his first experience with a so-called ‘financial advisor’. This ultimately sparked his quest to become a Certified Financial Planner. And not because the salesperson had his parents’ best interest in mind.
Fast forward 15,000+ hours of university and finance course work, and at least an equal amount of financial service industry experience, Justin is well on his way to becoming a true fiduciary for his clients. His mission is to ensure his clients get gold standard advice on all financial matters and never ‘sold’ for the sake of a sale.
As the old proverb goes, “speech is silver, but silence (or listening) is golden”. Justin would love to hear about your first memories of money and what it means to you. Whether it was positive or negative, exciting or emotional, he is curious to hear what it means to you. Does it mean more travel with your partner? More time on the lake? More warm chalet visits after an epic ski run? Adding that one item to your collection that takes you back? Or maybe it’s helping your children, so your grandchildren have a little more space to stretch their energetic legs? Whatever it means to you, remember the original definition of, ‘Wealth’:
“Happiness, Well-Being”
After enough cold and dark winters, Justin, Vicky and Dom moved to Cowichan Valley in April 2020. Their canines Dux & Lucca round out the Paniak Pack and the 5 of them love exploring everything Vancouver Island has to offer. Whether you are a busy business owner, relaxed retiree, or somewhere in the middle, Justin promises all his clients:
Big City Advice & Small-Town Service
With over 25 years of experience in the financial service across Canada, Tom spent the last 13 years of his career building an individual wealth management and pensions practice for a global mutual fund manufacturer.
His only goal is to help his clients, along with Precision Wealth clients to capture and execute valuable compensation strategies. Total Compensation Systems can sound intimidating. Salary expense ratios, group pricing structures, group salary extension, executive compensation, CIRP. The list of fancy terms and jargon cannot be understood by even the most of creative thinkers.
Tom takes even the most complex of corporate strategies to compensate owners and staff and explains them in plain language that people can understand. The outdoors is where Tom lives. Whether its boating, sailing to fishing and snowmobiling, his best clients enjoy those same sports alongside him. Never one to miss a chance to “experience” life, you might find him trying new pastimes in local communities, taking part in festivals and fundraisers, he loves to meet people.
He can be heard talking with strangers all over the country and always seems to make good friends wherever he goes. With a passion for leadership, process and execution, this combination can provide enormous value for owners and managers.Continuous improvement is a core value instilled over years of account management roles. This has encouraged him to continue expanding his knowledge base.
Tom’s life partner Dama is also a partner at his previous practice, continuing the tradition of planning first mentality. They both love to travel, hang out with their animals and “experience” life, rather than going through it.
I’ve been working in the world of personal finance since early 2014. I’ve got my CSC and Life Insurance license and am working towards becoming a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM). I moved to Vancouver Island in 2017 but even though I only spent a few years there I fell in love with it’s slower passed lifestyle and beauty but with a growing family, I decided to move back to the lower mainland to be closer to my family.
I spend my free time being active outside and enjoying the beautiful weather BC has to offer. Travelling is a passion of mine and I hope to one day complete my bucket list of must see places around the world.
I have been working in the Customer Service Industry for over 12 years and the financial industry for 4, my main goal is to always ensure that the client comes first and that they have the best experience from beginning to end.
My husband and I moved our family from Maple Ridge to Parksville in 2017 and have not looked back. We fell in love with the Island life, and you can usually find us hiking Englishman River Falls or Notch hill with our daughter and our dog! When we’re not hiking, we love to go camping and explore all that the island has to offer.
